“ If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”

Rejoice In The Lord wooden distressed sign

I recently made this to remind me of a fun trip I got to take to Meg Duersken's Craft House. She has so much color around and you can't help but be happy when you are there. I just wanted to move in on the spot. ha!!

Hello There

Fun NEW Art Line!

I have been having fun with some new art, using water colors and ink. I want them to be sweet, happy, imperfect, little pieces of art that people can hang anywhere in their house.
I am making originals, but am also in the process of making prints so that they can be purchased that way as well (with the watermarks removed of course). The current prints fit perfectly in a mini-clipboard, which comes with a little hanger, so it's a perfect addition to a photo gallery wall or even just propped up somewhere.

I am also doing several custom orders, so if you have a favorite verse, saying, hymn, etc... Let me know and I'll try to come up with something fun for you!

A few of the new art pieces:

I love this verse and when I saw this saying on a t-shirt with a lantern, I had to make it for my own little gallery wall. : )

Here are a  few of the kitchen prints I have done:

Precious Kim

This was ordered by the sister of a truly precious woman in my life. She's going through a battle with cancer right now, something I'm very sensitive to after watching my mom go through it, and she has handled it like the amazing woman of God she is.

Her sister wanted it to say:

But the Lord Stood with me canvas

Door Signs

These are a few door signs I made for Christmas gifts last year.
Yep...kind of behind on updating! ha!

My sister requested this for her front door:

Christmas Ornaments

I made these for our family and a couple of our closest friends, making them resemble the houses they live in and their family. I even tried to draw clothes that they love to wear. It was such a fun project. : )

Sweet Ruby

This was done for my sweet friend Sara Neufeld. How cute is her nursery! This girl is creative with a capital C and hilarious. : )  She already has three boys and they are so in love with their little sister.

Lily Grace

This canvas was created for a family that had been told they couldn't have children.
This is part of the e-mail I received:
"I have a need for a very special gift for some friends that are expecting in May.  They have been trying to have children for years but have not been able and were about to adopt in January but that fell through and they were heartbroken but...God in His goodness has blessed them with a child of their own.  Yep..just after the adoption fell through, they found out they were pregnant...nothing short of a miracle for them for sure.  It is a little girl and they are naming her Lily Grace.  I would really like to order one of your canvas paintings for them."

I am praising the Lord with this family!
So thankful I got to be a teeny part of this special time for them. : )

Lynlee Kate

I love making sweet canvases for new little ones.
It is such a joy to celebrate with these families. : )
Welcome Miss Lynlee Kate!

Her sweet mama, took a picture of the canvas with the bedding she wanted me to match.

Birthday Verse canvas

This canvas was created as a birthday present from one of the sweetest women I know to another one of the sweetest women I know. They both "let their light shine" constantly. It was my honor to do a canvas for them.

Beautiful Barn

I have always had a thing for old barns. Something about them captivates me.
I was recently asked to paint a picture of a barn that has been in a woman's family for a long time. Her husband wanted to give it to her as an anniversary present.  I loved the picture that her husband sent me, so I wanted to try and get the painting as close to it as possible.

This is the picture:
